Paletier Color Tools

Palette Visibility Fixer

Check whether a palette stays distinguishable across common color-vision simulations.
Palette colors (3–8)

Results show Standard, Protanopia, Deuteranopia, and Tritanopia views, the problem pairs, and a safe improved palette when one exists.

How It Works

  1. Enter 3 to 8 palette colors.
  2. Switch between vision tabs to inspect simulations.
  3. Copy the improved palette only when the score is not worse.

Scores run 0–100: higher means a stronger fit or a safer palette. Suggested changes are design guidance, not automatic decisions — keep what serves your project.

Color-vision simulations are approximate design aids and are not a medical or diagnostic representation.

FAQ

What does the visibility score mean?

It summarizes the weakest pairwise distinguishability across standard and simulated color-vision views.

Does this diagnose color blindness?

No. The simulations are approximate design guidance and are not medical or diagnostic results.

Why did only one color change?

The fixer prefers the smallest non-regressing adjustment that improves the current palette score.
